Hello and Welcome to the Birth-Right Doula Website
My name is Fleur, and I offer a range of Doula services including Antenatal, Birth and Postnatal support within Leicester and the surrounding area.
I trained with 'Nurturing Birth' who are accredited to 'Doula UK', an established non-profit association network for Doulas.
Having a baby is a very special experience and it is important that you feel comfortable, confident and that you trust those that will be with you throughout your journey.
"This person [your birth partner] must be someone whom you can trust absolutely, who understands your priorities, can communicate well, and with whom you can relax and are free to reveal yourself..."*
I offer a free, no obligation, first meeting or 'interview' so that you can meet me before making any firm decisions about who will support you throughout your journey.
This website aims to give you as much information about the work that a Doula offers along with the particular services that I offer. If you still have any questions or concerns please get in touch. Having a baby can be a daunting experience, but you don't have to do it alone and you can be reassured that we all have the same concerns and questions and I am always available to offer my support.
This website is here to help you so please do bookmark this page and check back for regular updates and information.

By having a Doula at your birth you can:
- Shorten first-time labour by an average of 2 hours
- Decrease your chance of having a Caesarean section by 50%
- Decrease the need for pain-relief
- Increase your success with breastfeeding
Mother's also report feeling twice as satisfied with their partners after the birth and report feeling more satsified with their birth experience as a whole**
